All in a Garden Green Concert 25th July

World–renowned Kent musicians soprano Kate Semmens and Steven Devine (Harpsichord) will take us for a musical stroll through the gardens of the 16th to 18th centuries where flowers bloom sweetly, birds sing and insects buzz, and where nymphs and shepherds fall in and out of love!

The music, much of which has been specially researched and edited for this programme, ranges from the general scene-setting to the specific – either particular flowers or birds, or particular emotions stirred by or in a garden. Prepare to be enchanted by, among others, quintessential Purcell, Handel, Arne, Caccini and Monteverdi.

The concert will be in indoors at Mount Ephraim, 25th July and starts at 7.30pm. There will be a 20 minute interval. Drinks and canapés served from 7pm. The garden will be open from 5pm and picnickers are welcome in the garden.

The price of the evening is £30 for KGT Members, and £35 for non-members. We would prefer you to buy online at, but in case of difficulty please e-mail our Secretary Lynn Phillips at or telephone 01322 861679 (9.30 – 4.30pm).
