THE WEST WING TEA ROOM
Nestled in the picturesque West Wing of the house, our Tea Room warmly welcomes garden visitors from April to September on Wednesdays to Sundays and Bank Holidays from 11am – 4pm with last orders at 3.30pm.
Our Tea Room is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delightful selection of treats during your garden visit. Indulge in homemade cakes, light lunches – usually sandwiches and sausage rolls, and freshly-baked cream teas. For those craving something cool, we offer a variety of ice creams, alongside a range of hot and cold refreshments from our West Wing Window.
We are committed to accommodating dietary requirements and offer oat milk as an alternative to dairy, along with vegan and gluten-free options wherever possible. If you have any food or drink intolerances or allergies, please speak to a member of staff before ordering.
Enjoy your refreshments in one of our two small indoor seating areas, available on a first-come, first-served basis, or on our large outdoor terrace that offers stunning views of our fabulous topiary. Additionally, we have picnic benches on the upper terrace for a more casual dining experience.
For our loyal visitors, season ticket holders receive a 10% discount in the Tea Room.
Afternoon Tea in 2026
Afternoon Tea will be available again during our 2026 garden season after the Easter weekend on Thursdays to Sundays between 12pm – 3pm. The cost is £30 per person including garden entry. View our Afternoon Tea Menu. We have Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free and Children’s Menus available on request.
