APRIL TO SEPTEMBER

We welcome group bookings throughout the garden season with discounted rates, garden tours, and group catering all available. Our recommended visit time would be about 2.5 hours with a visit to the Tea Room included or around 90 minutes for a stroll only. We can arrange out of season/outside opening hours group visits on occasion but the Tea Room will not be open. Please note the gardens are on a large natural slope so not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with restricted mobility.

DIRECTIONS FOR COACHES

Coaches will need to access the gardens via our back drive on Church Hill. The most accessible route to Church Hill is via the A299 Thanet Way. Coaches should come off at the Whitstable Road/Staplestreet exit on the A299 and head onto Staplestreet towards Hernhill. Just before the Three Horseshows Pub on Staple Street there is a turning on the left into Church Hill. Follow the road down the hill and the entrance to Mount Ephraim is just on the right hand side as the road begins to head back up the hill towards Hernhill Church and the Red Lion Pub. Whilst the roads are narrow country roads with passing tricky in places, coaches and arctic lorries can access the gardens by following this route. It is not recommended to come via Boughton High Street off the A2 as this high street gets very busy.
